Terms & Conditions

Flo Performing Arts – Terms & Conditions

1. Enrolment & Registration

All students must complete registration via class for kids before attending classes.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring contact details, medical information, and emergency contacts are accurate and kept up to date.

2. Payments & Fees

Fees are payable in advance, either termly or monthly as agreed.

Late payments may incur an additional charge.

Refunds are not given for missed classes, holidays, or illness unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Trial classes may be offered; fees for trials are non-refundable.

If students are unable to attend classes for a period of time due to reasons outside of their control, please contact the school as we may decide to pause membership. This is at the schools discretion.

3. Attendance & Punctuality

Students are expected to attend regularly and arrive on time.

If a student is unable to attend, the school should be informed as soon as possible.

Consistent absence without notice may result in the student’s place being withdrawn.

4. Behaviour & Conduct

Students are expected to show respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students.

Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in temporary or permanent exclusion without refund.

Mobile phones should be switched off or silenced during classes.

Whilst we encourage our students to try out as many clubs as they can we allow no uniform or t-shirts from other performing arts/dance schools are permitted to be worn at our classes.

By signing these terms, you agree to read and co-operate with our code of conduct as shown on our website: www.floperformingarts.co.uk

5. Uniform & Appearance

Appropriate dance/performance wear must be worn as advised by the school. This includes appropriate footwear. If you do not follow the schools recommendation you do so at your own risk and this may stop you from participating in class.

Hair should be neatly tied back where possible.

No jewellery should be worn during classes for safety reasons.

6. Health & Safety

Parents/guardians must disclose medical conditions and/or injuries.

Teachers are not responsible for administering medication unless in an emergency.

Students participate at their own risk; Flo Performing Arts is not liable for injuries sustained during classes unless caused by proven negligence.

7. Safeguarding & Photography

The school has a safeguarding policy in place to protect children and vulnerable adults. By accepting these terms, you agree to co-operate with our safeguarding policy as accessible on our website www.floperformingarts.co.uk

No unauthorised photography or video recording is permitted during classes.

The school may take photos/videos for marketing purposes with prior written consent from parents/guardians using the company iPad only. If you change your consent agreement, please ensure you write to us, sign and date.

8. Performances & Events

Participation in shows, competitions, or events is optional but may require additional fees.

Commitment to rehearsals and costume requirements is expected if a student chooses to take part.

All performances and events are upheld with the required safeguarding and safety legislation, including licensed chaperones, enhanced DBS checks and child to adult ratios.

A BOPA will also be required to carry out performances.

9. Cancellation & Termination

The school reserves the right to cancel classes due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g. extreme weather, teacher illness). Where possible, catch-up sessions will be offered.

Parents/guardians must give one month’s notice in writing if withdrawing a student from the school.

10 . Vouchers

Vouchers are available only at specific times of the year, such as Christmas season.

Vouchers are only applied to the classes in which are described at the point of buying.

Vouchers are used in block booking format only and class dates must be consecutively attended week by week. Therefore a voucher that holds 4 classes must be booked with 4 classes consecutively scheduled.

Those who use vouchers as new students do not have to give notice of cancellation of place at the end of voucher period, but are welcome to sign up for monthly subscription if there is a place available.

11. Agreement

By enrolling a student at Flo Performing Arts, parents/guardians agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
